Chief Finance Officer
Teitur Poulsen is directly responsible for Lundin Petroleum’s financial reporting, internal audit, risk management, tax and treasury function.
Born in the Faroe Islands in 1974, Teitur Poulsen graduated from Aberdeen University where he obtained a degree in Economics.
Between 2000 and 2002 he worked as an economist for Dana Petroleum plc and the oil and gas consultancy firm AUPEC ltd in Aberdeen. In 2003 he joined Faroe Petroleum as chief economist and business analyst. From 2006 to 2010, Mr Poulsen held various positions with Lundin Petroleum including the position of Group Economics and Corporate Planning Manager. In 2010, Mr Poulsen joined Det norske oljeselskap ASA as CFO until 2012 when he re-joined Lundin Petroleum as VP Corporate Planning and Investor Relations.
Following the spin-off of IPC in 2017, Mr Poulsen was appointed CFO of Lundin Petroleum.
