EXPLORATION LICENCES MANAGER - Growth Team

Location: Aberdeen, UK

Reporting to the Exploration & Growth Manager, responsible for technical quality for Lundin Britain’s exploration effort on existing licences, licence round applications & farm-ins and farm-outs. Job Function - Liaise with Oslo-based exploration team and manage existing operated and non-operated asset base. - Attend TCM meetings, update plans and assess future strategy on existing assets and new blocks. - Work with drilling personnel in well planning of exploration wells. - Liaison with partner companies and regulatory authorities. - Maintain forward plan for exploration activities - Recommend quality new ventures opportunities and support growth initiatives. Job requires good working relationship and communication within Aberdeen and liaison with Geneva & Oslo IM/IT teams. Adherence to project deadlines and project management skills are extremely important in the role. Qualifications A geoscientist with a good Honours Degree in Geoscience and preferably Msc or PhD in relevant oil & gas exploration and production subject. The ideal candidate will have experience of working for an oil company, preferably for some time with an operator and with recent North Sea experience.An energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate is required.  Ideally hands-on experienced in multiple disciplines within the oil & gas sector ideal.  Good interpersonal skills.
