Matching Programme
One of the aims of the Corporate Donations programme is to encourage the corporate citizenship approach, not only within Lundin Petroleum corporate, but also among its subsidiaries; this is why Lundin Petroleum instituted a matching program whereby it matches any contribution made by a Lundin subsidiary, provided the donation fits with the criteria of the corporate programme.

In 2007, the staff of Lundin Petroleum’s French operations donated their accumulated overtime pay to Handi’ Chiens to fund the purchase of dogs for the blind. Funds were also donated to the Conservatoire du Patrimoine Naturel de Champagne Ardenne, an environmental protection organisation. Together with this institution, a few staff members participated on a voluntary basis to the clearing of the Marais de St Gond, in order to preserve the diversity of local flora and fauna of these swamps.

The same team will be participating on a voluntary basis to the clean-up of a river.
